From Aix en Provence this morning, we headed down to the French Riveria. Firstly, St Tropez and then along the coastline through St Raphael, Cannes and finally onto Nice.
Although we ended the day in Nice the last part of the drive was not Nice (pardon the pun).
The drive along the coastline appears to be France's version of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria and absolutely stunning. Different to the GOR, there is a lot more people that inhabitant this part of the world and it is amazing how many people holiday down in this part of the world. The challenge for the day was the traffic from Cannes to Nice. Definitely not a great place to drive and a lot of stress, but we made it intact (just) and was lucky enough to find that the hotel bar has Jimmy in it, plus a Happy Hour from 6 - 8.....
